Tommy's was born from a simple idea: bring the authentic, vibrant flavours of Latin America to Sydney's doorstep. Inspired by the bustling taqueras of Mexico City, the ceviche bars of Lima, and the parrillas of Buenos Aires, we set out to create a dining experience that captures the spirit of the entire continent.
What started as a single venue on Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, quickly became one of Sydney's most loved dining destinations. The energy was infectious — the tacos were hand-folded, the margaritas were shaken with precision, and every guest left feeling like family.
Today, Tommy's continues to celebrate the bold, unapologetic flavours that Latin American cuisine is known for — paired with warm hospitality and a buzzing atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back week after week.

Every dish is rooted in traditional Latin American recipes, elevated with premium Australian produce. From our hand-pressed tortillas to our house-made salsas, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do.
Our bar team freshly squeezes every juice and makes all syrups and cordials in-house daily. With over 50 tequilas and mezcals, we take our agave seriously — and our margaritas speak for themselves.

Head Chef & Partner
Classically trained and obsessed with the regional cooking of Mexico and Peru, our head chef built Tommy's kitchen around two non-negotiables: everything hand-made, and everything honest. Tortillas are pressed to order. Salsas are ground daily. Agaves are sourced from small producers across Jalisco and Oaxaca.
